This is a review Robotics News from FRANCE 24. It’s tell about new technology robots. In this news show 4 kinds of robot. There are NAO, HONDA’S ASIMO, GOOGLE’S SELF DRIVE CHALLENGE, AND ALDEBARAN’S ROMEO.
The firts robot name is NAO. He is cute and he is funny. He is fully programmable. He has many talents. He can walk, sit down, and speak up, he also can join football tournament. NAO solt in 40 country and in 2007 it sold 1500 units. It almost like human. NAO is education’s favourite humanoid. He can recognize face and voices. He can speak in 12 languages. NAO can respons the question. Newscaster give him question “Why were you created ?” NAO answer “I come from software and fully program, I can recognized your face, answer your question, play music, and even play soccer like a pro,”. The newscaster also ask “ What’s your hobby ?”. And quickly NAO Answer “ I’m the star of the show, I love dancing”. The creator said NAO personality is like human being, it has program to communicated. NAO is used for education. Researcher always develop about program for NAO. Bastiens PARENT, Aldebara Robotics Said NAO will available for family. It’s cost is also fantastic, 5000 Europe. But the creator will reduced the cost, for example producing more robots. And they plan to offer it to the general public for very low price. They try to make it available. NAO was created to help humans. But the creator did’t plan to use our robots to produce themselves.
